Hi everyone,
I've been taking this medication for a while, and my question is why did it stop working. I've been taking it for about 4 weeks now. I'm not sure if it's caused by a lack of stomach acid, or it's due to the drug. I also take Prilosec, which is the generic name for Nexium. Is there anything I should consider in this situation? I don't know if it's safe for me to take Nexium, or if there's anything I should consider in that regard.

I think I'll try to read up on this and see if there are any other options to treat my heartburn. I'm not too sure how to do this at all, but I'm not sure how to give this medication to my kids.

I'm on the same medication as Prilosec, but it is much better than Nexium. I read that it's not the same as esomeprazole, and I don't think that's the case. My doctor told me to take it for a week and see if it worked, so I'm not sure if that's really safe. I just hope that it's a safe thing to take. If this does work, I'll make a special appointment with my doctor for testing.

I've been on this medication for some time, and I have been trying to get off it for about a month. I'm trying to get off my acid-suppressing medication, Nexium, and hope it'll work well for me. I don't want to give up hope. My doctor prescribed esomeprazole, but it's a long story. I also read that it's good for heartburn. I think the side effects are similar. If you have a problem with esomeprazole, you should talk to your doctor. They may be able to give you an alternative or a different dosage.

Thanks for the detailed advice, I'm glad I was able to get off this medication. I was hoping it would be something that I could start seeing my doctor for myself. I've heard that there are some people who can take Nexium for a week, but not everyone is going to. I know that I have to keep taking this medication for a long time, but I'm not sure how long it will take to work. I'm a bit nervous about going off the esomeprazole, but I don't want to risk it.

Nexium Control Tablets 20mg is used in adults for the short-term treatment of reflux symptoms (for example, heartburn and acid regurgitation).
Reflux is the backflow of acid from the stomach into the gullet (“foodpipe”) which may become inflamed and painful. This may cause you symptoms such as a painful sensation in the chest rising up to your throat (heartburn) and a sour taste in the mouth (acid regurgitation).
Nexium Control is not meant to bring immediate relief. You may need to take the tablets for 2-3 days in a row before you feel better. You must talk to a doctor if you do not feel better or if you feel worse after 14 days.
